OUR MANAGEMENT  TEAM

Dr. Terri Bittner is a serial entrepreneur and co-owner and CEO of Bittner Development Group with her husband, Martin Bittner. Dr. Bittner has a B.A. in Applied Math, M.S. in Statistics, and a Ph.D. in Operations Research. She has decades of experience as an educator: teaching honors math in public schools from grades 6-12, as well as undergrad through Ph.D. students. She focuses on combining technology with superior pedagogy in an effort to develop educational interactive tools.

Martin Bittner is the co-owner of BDG. He has a BS and MS in electrical engineering and communications. He has worked on satellite and payload design; has taught math, statistics, and physics; and he has decades of experience in educational publishing. He is an avid soccer fan and enjoys refereeing youth games (as well as teaching new referees).

Eric Bittner is the Director of Engineering at BDG. He has a BS in Economics and Computer Security. He helped to start BDG’s development team where he specializes in creative concepts for BDG’s clients, utilizing our dedicated programmers to help clients through the design and production of unique media. His hobbies include coaching water polo.

Kurt Norlin is a Senior Editor / Content Producer for BDG. After graduating with a bachelor's in physics, he spent three years in the Marines before going back to school to earn a Ph.D. in philosophy. He has worked in the publishing industry since the mid-1990's and became BDG's first full-time employee in 2013. His hobbies include symbolic logic and fencing.

Nate Petterson is a Senior Editor / Content Producer for BDG. He has a BA in English and an MA in Education. He worked as an educator for 15 years, teaching secondary and college English. He has also worked for several non-profit organizations focusing on assisting underprivileged communities and youth development.

Jeff Walker is the director of business development at BDG. He is from Fresno, California and went to CSULB. Jeff has an entrepreneurial spirit, and 20 yrs of experience in sales. He enjoys bringing positive energy and creativity to help clients achieve their business goals.

Joanna oversees production of print and electronic media across a range of subjects and titles. She spends most of her time surrounded by her two whiskered children, Bartholomew and Michiko.

Sydney Freeman is a Project Manager / Quality Assurance Engineer for BDG. She has a BS in Environmental Science, which acts as the foundation of her management skill set. With 9 years of experience in customer service, Sydney also specializes in client communications. In her free time, she enjoys botany, gaming, and hiking with her dog Finnley.
